The HeartMan consortium held its 4th Consortium Meeting, in which all the ongoing project topics were discussed. The human-centred design is in the final steps and the mobile application is taking shape. The wristband is integrated with the mobile application. The decision support and the backend are also largely done, and the first prototype has been integrated. Preparations for the trial are in progress. The consortium also prepared for the interim review due in early July.
UGent presented a protocol paper on the trial of the HeartMan system, with a focus on the effect of sexual counselling and physical exercise on sexual activity in heart failure patients.
UGent presented a paper on predictive models for mortality and hospitalization and predictive factors for quality of life patients with congestive heart failure. This paper was based on two systematic reviews conducted for the HeartMan project.
The HeartMan project held a technical meeting in Madrid on 6th and 7th March 2017 in Atos premises. During two days the HeartMan prototyping team discussed the use cases and scenarios in order to finalize the Graphical User Interface sketches.
